Como os dijimos la semana pasada, hemos estado muy liados con varias cosas: fuímos a la Fundación Humanae; hicimos un vídeo junto con los demás diseñadores de Enfant Terrible (también podeis ver a nuestras amiguísimas Nati y Ele, gracias por venir!!); hemos hablado con algunas tiendecitas en las que venderán nuestros kits en un futuro y hemos estado organizando la KNITTING PARTY de mañana, entre más cosas que os iremos desvelando poco a poco!

Sin embargo, a lo que más tiempo estamos dedicando es a diseñar nuestros nuevos modelos!! Van a estar listos muy muy pronto, así que hasta entonces os vamos a enseñar como es el proceso creativo de WE ARE KNITTERS!
Os podemos decir que habrá un nuevo cuello, unos gorritos y un jersey. Aunque de momento, sólo os avanzamos el nombre del cuello: DUMBO SNOOD!! Hemos visto que gustan mucho nuestras bufandas y cuellos, así que decidimos apostar por una nueva! En este caso, el punto que hemos utilizado es el punto de arroz, que es muy sencillo de hacer y a la vista queda muy bien.

Todo el proceso es muy dinámico: a la vez que tenemos en la cabeza el nuevo modelo, vamos tejiéndolo, anotando en nuestras Moleskines recicladas las medidas. Estos números que anotamos cambian constantemente, ya que lo que en un principio nos gusta puede que al final no nos convenza o nos resulte repetitivo.

Como veis en las fotos del boceto, DUMBO SNOOD empezó siendo una bufanda, aunque al final terminó siendo un ´loop´. En este caso, tejimos la versión final en color turquesa porque nos apetecía hacer algo alegre y divertido! Aunque, como ya sabeis, estará disponible en cualquiera de nuestros colores...
Coincidió que ese día vino a visitarnos nuestra amiga Mel y, tras convencerla (aunque tampoco hizo falta insistir mucho, todo hay que decirlo, gracias Mel!!), nos fuímos al solarium que hay en la última planta e hicimos unas fotillos muy chulas! Estas son algunas:

Hi knitters!
as we told you last week, we've been very busy with lots of things: we went to Fundación Humanae, we filmed a video for Enfant Terrible along with other designers (you can also see in the video our friends Nati & Ele, thanks for coming girls!), we've been in talks with some shops that will sell our kits in the near future and we have organised everything for tomorrow's KNITTING PARTY! There are more things to come, we will tell you...
But in what we have put all of our effort is in the design of our new clothes!! They are going to be ready really soon, so meanwhile we are going to show you the creative process behind WE ARE KNITTERS!
We can tell you there are going to be a snood, two beanies and a sweater. But for the moment we are only going to tell you the snood's name: DUMBO SNOOD!! We have noticed that our scarfs, loops and snoods are a success, so we decided to create a new one! In this case, we used the moss stitch. It is very easy to knit and once you've finished is really beautiful to see.
The process is very dynamic: when we have an idea of what we want to do, we start to knit it and, at the same time, we write down in our recyclable Moleskines the measures. We change these numbers all the time because what we thought we liked at first, in the end we are not 100& into it or is just repetitive for us.
As you can see in the photos of the sketch, DUMBO SNNOD was meant to be a scarf, but in the end we decided to turn it into a loop. We knitted the final version in turquoise because we wanted something light and fun! But, as you already know, it will be available in all our colors...
It was a coincidence, but our friend Mel came to see us to our studio and, after convincing her (we didn't have to insist that much, you know? Thanks Mel!) we went to the solarium in the top floor and we took some cool pics!
