Hemos estado trabajando contrarreloj los dos últimos meses pensando en los nuevos modelos, mezclando colores, redactando patrones...todo ello siempre con nuestras últimas visitas a California en mente, desde San Francisco hasta San Diego y todas las playas que hay en la costa oeste de U.S.A...
El paso final antes de enseñaros nuestra nueva colección Primavera/Verano '12 k n i t // t h e // c o t t o n fue hacer el shooting de las prendas.
Las fotos se las encargamos a la que ya se está convirtiendo en nuestra fotógrafa de cabecera, ROSA COPADO. Siempre consigue sacar lo mejor de las chicas, además de captar totalmente la esencia de nuestras creaciones!
La sesión la hicimos en la acogedora casa-estudio de los aún más acogedores Maurizio y su hijo Pablo (see you in L.A. boy!). Focos, cuadros, pinceles, buena música...todo por todas partes pero a la vez en su sitio! Es el sitio perfecto para encontrar la inspiración :)
Las modelos, LARA LÓPEZ & LORENA BARREIRO, de UnoBcn, nos enamoraron cuando las vimos en sus books, pero en persona tenemos que confesar, o más bien, gritar a los cuatro vientos, que son
I-M-P-R-E-S-I-O-N-A-N-T-E-S!!
Mil gracias desde aquí chicas, fue facilísimo trabajar con vosotras y estamos orgullosísimos del resultado!
Fue un día larguísimo...como ya nos pasó en invierno, comimos (o más bien merendamos) unas pizzas en 5 minutos, seguimos con más fotos, metimos a las chicas en una bañera, les lanzamos ovillos, escogimos nuestras fotos en un mano a mano con Rosita...y cenamos un perrito caliente BUENÍSIMO en el centro...bendita es la comida basura en esos momentos!!!
Gracias a Sagra & Sara también, sin su trabajo con el maquillaje y la peluquería el resultado no habría sido el mismo :)

Salut! Ça va?
We've been working non-stop during the last two months thinking about the new clothes, mixing colors, writing down the patterns...all of this with our Californian memories in mind. From San Francisco all the way down to San Diego and all the beaches on the West Coast...
The final step before showing you our Spring/Summer Collection '12 k n i t // t h e // c o t t o n was doing the photo shoot.
The photographer in charge was ROSA COPADO, with whom we worked in our last collection and has since then become a friend of WE ARE KNITTERS. She's always capable of taking the best shots of the girls and capture the essence of our designs.
The shooting took place in the cozy place of the super friendly Maurizio and his son Pablo (see you in L.A. boy!). Light, pictures, paintbrushes everywhere, good music...if you're looking for inspiration, this is the right place to go!
We fell in love with the models the moment we saw the books UnoBcn Agency sent us. They're called LARA LÓPEZ & LORENA BARREIRO. We must confess, or even better, shout out loud, they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Thank you very much girls! It was so easy to work with you and we are really proud of the result!!
It was a really long day...and it ended up being like the Fall/Winter shoot, having some pizza for lunch in 5 min (or should we say for dinner?), more photos, the girls got into a bathtub, we threw some yarn balls at them, chose the best pics with Rosita and finished by having a late hot dog-dinner in the city center...God bless junk-food in those moments!!!
We cannot finish without thanking Sagra & Sara, whose work in the make-up and hair department was just perfection :)
